A complete newbie could really screw up their system deleting stuff like that. I was asked to delete some registry entries that obviously linked to my network drivers. Yeah -- no thanks. Then I tried Jv16 Powertools (macecraft.com), ran the cleaner utilities, and I'm impressed with the results. There was nothing to fear.
There is a great tool Digeus I recommend to use it when windows system doesn't boot up or hangs. I also recommend Tune Up Suite. It optimizer system performance.
